A fine quality 18th Century English Mahogany Bureau made of Cuban Mahogany.
A small Cuban mahogany bureau with the desirable feature of being just three feet wide. An interior with boxwood stringing that "shows off" the beautiful pattern on drawers and small door. The cuban mahogany is again featured on the cock-beaded front drawers with its beautiful pattern and color. The graduation of drawers produces a classical design. Very good color and patination. Handles are original.

Very rare Charles II Small Oak Chest of Drawers. This chest is in superb original condition. It features a very unusual drawer locking system, with key, which was top of the line in 1690. It shows the Continental influences which flooded into England after the Restoration. The color is excellent and the remaining decoration consists of split balusters applied vertically.
